Everything is now coming together for my two cake decorating DVD’s, which is really exciting. Yesterday I had a photoshoot for all the new Wonky cakes – they always look so different when set up professionally in a studio! I’m afraid I can’t show you any details of the cakes – it would spoil the surprise! But here’s a small glimpse of the action:

Mind you having said action, I think the only thing that moves fast at a photoshoot is the shutter! Photoshoots by their very nature are always painstakingly slow, especially when you are watching… small changes to lighting and props always seem to take for ever. I find the whole process exhausting, but I guess it would be different if I was the photographer!
It’s now two weeks until filming…..I’ll keep you posted

Your comment made me laugh, and to think I was my daughters age when we were Saturday girls. I learnt a lot about cameras back then and still love taking photos when I can. However I leave photographing cakes to the professionals – the results are so much better……
