Additional Autumn cake workshops

Just to let you all know that due to demand we’ve added five additional workshops to our autumn programme. So how do you fancy joining me to learn how to carve this whale?

Our cake carving courses are proving very popular so as requested we’ve added another cake design. This whale is an ideal way to learn the basics of carving and covering a novelty cake – Great course if you have young children or grandchildren. Also ideal if you just haven’t been brave enough to actually carve a cake yet! I am really looking forward to teaching this class!

We also added two mini cake workshops, one using autumn as its inspiration and one Christmas. We’ve listened to your requests – the autumn inspired class will include working with a sugar shaper so you can learn how to get the most out of this wonderful tool. The Christmas class will include using Patchwork Cutter Christmas designs to great effect.

Another request we’ve received is for Christmas cookies that can be made in advance for Christmas fairs, bazaars, school functions, teachers presents etc We hope our Christmas tree cookie decorations on 24th November will do just the trick!

Finally our October wonky is almost full so we’ve added another in early December – why not make a wonky as your Christmas cake this year!

Please note we will be now running workshops at two venues and the ones above are all being held n Tuesdays at a new venue in Butlers cross near Wendover, Buckinghamshire.

I hope you can join me

  1. Hi Lindy!

I would really like to know if you have plans to come to Northern Ireland to do workshops as you seem to travel all around the world but have never heard of you coming here.

I am quite new to cake decorating and dont know who you would contact to arrange such a thing. Maybe you have contacts here? Sugarcraft workshops, especially of your standard seem to be non-existant in Northern Ireland and I would really like it if you could come here.

    Best Regards
    Donna :)

  2. Hi Donna
To arrange workshops in Nothern Ireland, there would need to have someone in Northern Ireland willing and able to co-ordinate the workshops. It takes a lot of preparation to get my trips off the ground! To date, I have not been contacted by anyone but who knows……..
