Hi Lindy, I love your range of cupcake cases they are so different. Just wanted to ask have you ever had problems with some of the colour printed cases or foil cases, that shortly after the cupcakes are made the paper cases separate from the cake. Any words of wisdom or fail safe solutions – anyone??? Congratulations on the book, will be placing my order next month. Thanks Hilary Jordan

I very occasionally find this happens when my cakes are very moist. There was a discussion a little while ago about this topic on our facebook page You’ll have to scroll back – but you will see that you are not alone! If I remember correctly, the general consenus was that the cheaper the cupcake case the more likely it was to happen!

I’m a bit late to the party and I’m busy catching up with all your blogs and everything cakie, I also haveyour wonderful cake bible at hom which I find a godsend.
My question is, do these cases hold there colour after they’re cooked as I’ve had other makes (not just cheap ones) that have not come out as colourful
