June 8   Lindy Smith’s new DVDs now despatched

It’s been a huge task but we done it! – So thank you everyone who pitched in. So much paperwork to organise, DVDs to pack, sacks of parcels to fill etc – A bit of a marathon but we’ve almost got to the end, as I write it’s just the despatch notes to send….

This means that my DVDs will start arriving through your letterboxes from tomorrow (9th June) onwards – So why not book yourself some time out to relax, put your feet up and watch me being creative with cake jewellery gems, wonky cakes or both.

I’d love to hear your feedback; these are my first DVDs so it’s been a huge learning curve for me. They’ve been great fun to make but a lot of hard work has gone into them as well!  So I’d like to know if the long hours have all been worthwhile.

    I have been off work with the flu and generally feeling rubbish, so when I received my copy of ‘Wonky Celebration Cakes’ it really brightened up my day!!

    I sat up in bed with a nice hot ribena and watched both DVD’s.

    Lindy, you are a wonderful teacher, and explain everything so well. The DVD was very well set out and covered every single topic – I especially loved the troubleshooting section!

    I was always very nervous to attempt this style of cake, but now I can have your DVD on alongside me, and give me that little bit more confidence to make my first ‘Wonky’!!!

    Thank you very much for your kind comments. I’m very pleased to hear that my wonky dvd has given you more confidence to have a go at a wonky cake – that was my aim when planning and creating the dvd, so its good to know – thank you.

    Just a quick note to say thankyou so much for publishing the DVDs. I have both! I have attempted both wonky cakes and cake Jewellery in the past, but neither have turned out well, now I know why, once again thankyou.

    Thank you for your comments, I view dvds as a half way house between books and workshops and I’m really please that everyone is finding them so useful.
    Regards my next book, you have just given me the nudge I need to ask my publishers again for an update – last year my publishers and I were talking about a 2010 book but as yet I’ve heard no more!!!
