Ever wondered what it was actually like behind the scenes, well today is the first photoshoot day for my cupcake book, so I thought I’d give you a brief glimpse of the action!! Photoshoots are never as glamourous as they sound, lots of equipment, lots of lights, leads, computers, cameras etc However thay are always exciting, as professional photographers always manage to turn my cakes from just being cakes to little works of art. It’s the lighting and reflectors that do it and of course their talent for setting up the shot!
What it takes to make great cupcakes look fabulous!
As I write seven groups of cupcakes have been shot – only eighteen more to go!!! Thankfully it’s a two day photoshoot. I’m very pleased so far, can’t wait to see what how they shoot the rest!
