VANILLA COOKIE RECIPE

We are always being asked for a good recipe to use when decorating cookies, so here is one of Lindy’s favourites. It’s from Lindy’s “Bake me I’m yours…cookie” book, enjoy!

75g (3oz) butter, diced
1 small egg, beaten
275g (10oz) plain flour, sifted
30ml (2 tbsp) golden syrup
5ml (1 tsp) baking powder
100g (3½oz) caster sugar
2.5ml (½ tsp) vanilla extract

Spring Cookies 2010 Workshop

Spring is in the air! Ok, well… it may not feel like spring outside but visually it’s all around us. Bride & Groom Toppers Workshop

Putting sugarpaste aside for a few days, we are just back from a 2-day modelling workshop. Our theme was Bride & Groom cake toppers,  wonderful characters to place on the top of a wedding cake.  Lindy has been creating cake toppers for quite some time now.
