		<description>Dear Michelle

It sounds like you have tried most of our tips. Have you tried lining the outside of the tin with newspaper? Also, adding glycerine to the mixture can make the cake more moist.

Hope this helps and good luck!

		<description>Dear Priscilla

Could it be that your oven is too high? If you have a fan oven you can reduce the oven temperature to 160c (320F). I would grease your pan and then line it with baking parchment to stop it sticking.

Hope this helps and good luck!

		<description>Dear Marina

The sugarpaste will last a long time (approx 6 months) if stored correctly in an airtight container.

Happy cake making!

		<description>Dear Rachel

It sounds like you could have cooked it for slightly too long. Lindy recommends cooking a 4&quot; square chocolate cake for 45 mins-1hr. Remember all ovens are different so keep an eye on the cake and when a skewer comes out clean it means the cake is cooked.

You may add glycerine to the cake to make it more moist.

Hope this helps and good luck with your baking!

		<description>Dear Carol

Lindy would not cover cream cheese frosting in fondant. The lemon buttercream sounds like a better option.

Good luck with your cake making!

		<description>Dear Michelle

Lindy would fill the cake and coat the cake in ganache the day before.

Hope this helps and good luck!

It sounds like something has gone wrong. Make sure you are using the correct quantities of the ingredients.

		<description>Dear Sophie

Once a madeira cake is covered in fondant it will last approximately 2 weeks. Glycerine helps to keep the cake moist but it is not essential.

Please find a link below to Lindy&#039;s pdf document that will help with making wonky cakes.

Good luck!

		<description>Dear Angela

The madeira cake is suitable to use in a heart shaped tin. You might be interested to know that Lindy has a valentine heart cake in her &quot;Celebrate with a Cake&quot; book. Please see the link below.
