Anyone for tea and cake?

“ I have always been fascinated with the possibilities of using different shapes when it comes to designing cakes, but I must say that ball cakes have always really appealed to me. If you have some of my cake decorating books you’ll know that I usually try and include at least one example in each title! These cakes can be elegant and sophisticated when used to top a wedding cake or  amusing and fun when decorated with a eyes and cheeky grin!

When it comes to covering a ball cake the best tip I can give you is to think about where your decoration will be and line up your pleats of paste accordingly so the decoration hides any imperfections.” Lindy
