Inspire:

Lindy Smith’s version of a Christmas cake…a contemporary style Christmas Cake! It’s different, it’s stylish, it’s colourful…it’s a Lindy Smith cake.

Why:

Defy sugarpaste gravity and create this stunning ball shaped Christmas cake. Inspired by a Christmas Bauble, Lindy has designed this Christmas cake with the ‘wow’  factor!

Who:

Adding the finishing touches

You will be comfortable with handling and covering a cake in sugarpaste, ideally you will have already attended one of Lindy’s classes, but this isn’t essential.

What the course will cover:

You will learn how to cover a ball shaped cake. Decoration will be elaborate and festive and compliment the shape of the cake and the season. You will use stencils, sugarcraft cutters and royal icing to decorate your bauble as well as adding sparkle using edible lustre dusts.

What you can expect:

This class is challenging but, as with every Lindy Smith workshop, you will have Lindy supporting you every step of the way. Our workshops are fun, informative and supportive. You will be taught by Lindy herself who is recognised as one of the most exciting contemporary experts in sugarcraft. We pride ourselves on our ability to make our students feel at ease and encouraged, giving assistance where needed and space when not. You will end the day having created your very own Christmas Bauble Cake and will have gained valuable sugarcraft knowledge, techniques and tips for use in all aspects of your sugarcraft. We want you to have fun, learn a lot and become a cakefriend of Lindy’s Cakes Ltd.
