How to find Lindy’s cake decorating class venues

Lindy is currently holding classes in Shropshire and Buckinghamshire and below you will find suggested routes by car, train and plane. If you need any help planning your class visit please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Shropshire Venue:

The Clive, Bromfield, Ludlow, Shropshire, SY8 2JR

Travelling by car

pink flowerFrom the north - Shrewsbury direction

Follow the A49 south (signposted Leominster). Cross over the level crossing at Onibury and continue for 2.5 miles. Turn left and then immediately right following the Ludlow food centre signs. The Clive will be immediately on your left. Park in the Clive’s car park – the class venue (the boardroom) is the building behind the car park (look for the red Post Office sign).
From Shrewsbury to the venue takes about 50 minutes.

pink flowerFrom the south - Hereford direction
Follow the A49 north (signposted Shrewsbury). Drive around Ludlow on the by pass and continue for another 2 miles following the signs for the Ludlow food centre. Turn right and right again. The Clive will be immediately on your left. Park in the Clive’s car park – the class venue (the boardroom) is the building behind the car park (look for the red Post Office sign.
From Hereford to the venue takes about 50 minutes.

pink flowerFrom the East - from Kidderminster (linking from M42 / M5 and further afield)
Follow the A456 (signposted Bewdley, Leominster) until you get to Callow Hill. At the far end of Callow Hill turn right onto the A4117 (signposted Cleobury Mortimer). Stay on the A4117 until you get to the A49. Turn right (signposted Shrewsbury) then follow the directions for “from the South” to the venue.
From Kidderminster to the venue takes about 50 minutes.

Travelling by Train

The nearest stations are Ludlow (about seven minutes’ drive from the venue) and Craven Arms (about ten minutes’ drive from the venue). There are direct trains to the north to Shrewsbury (for connections to Birmingham), Crewe (for London Euston) and Manchester. To the south there are direct trains to Newport in Wales (for London Paddington), Cardiff and Swansea.

Travelling by Plane

The nearest International Airport is at Birmingham. It’s about an hour and twenty-five minutes’ drive from the airport to the venue. If you need further assistance planning your journey in England and you are travelling from overseas, please let us know.

Travelling by car

pink flowerFrom the north, South and east

Head for the M25, junction 20. Take the A41, (signposted Aylesbury / Hemel Hempstead). Take the A416, signposted Chesham. After about 3 miles, at the mini roundabout take the left turn, signposted A416 / town centre / Amersham. Go straight on at the next three roundabouts. Just past Trinity Baptist Church on your left, at the next mini roundabout take the left fork and the Waterside Business Park is on your left, just past number 122 (approx 100 yards on the left).
From Junction 20 of the M25, the journey takes about 20 minutes.

From the M40, junction 2. Take the 1st exit, the A355, signposted Beaconsfield / Amersham. At the roundabout take the 1st exit, signposted Beaconsfield A40 / Amersham A355. At the next 3 roundabouts follow Amersham A355, then at the next mini-roundabout, take the A416 signposted Berkhamsted / Chesham. Go through 7 roundabouts and then just after you pass a BP and Total garage (opposite each other), take the 2nd exit at the mini-roundabout and the Waterside Business Park is on your left, just past number 122 (approx 100 yards on the left).
From Junction 2 of the M40, the journey takes about 25 minutes.

Travelling by Train

Chesham has a station on the underground (Metropolitan Line).
From the station, it’s about an 8-10 minute walk. Head straight down Station Road (in front of you as you exit the station). Take the first left onto East Street and follow it all the way down to the T-junction. Turn left onto Red Lion Street (you will see the Red Lion pub in front of you). At the mini-roundabout, take the left fork and the Waterside Business Park is on your left, just past number 122 (approx 100 yards on the left).

Travelling by Plane

All the London airports have good connections to the London underground so getting to the venue from overseas is straight-forward (see the “by train” section above). If you need further assistance planning your journey in England and you are travelling from overseas, please let us know.
